What is your destination? What is determining your direction? Is it the promotion at work, comfort for your family, financial goals, children, your spouse, relationships? None of these things are bad, but should they be our destination? Should they be what is determining the direction of our life? Should they be what is driving us? When I am traveling, I put my destination in my GPS on my phone, it is fixed, it is constant. Every turn, exit, and even detour is necessary to direct me to where I am going. As a child of God, your destination, your fixed point should be eternity. All the different circumstances, events, blessings, even delays are necessary in your journey. Child of God, remember, this life God has given you is a blessing, but it's not your final destination. When I am in the presence of the Lord, when this life has come to an end, I then will be "HOME". So, as we take this journey together, let His joy be greater than any sorrow, His peace triumph over your problems and His destiny for your life, be what drives you. My friend, live this amazing life God has given you in such a way that others want to know... Where are you going? Get ready for the most amazing trip ever, as you fix your eyes on Jesus, and Navigate Home.

I am the mother of 5 awesome boys, two amazing daughter-in-laws, and the wife to a wonderful husband of 25 years. My husband and I were blessed to serve in full-time pastoral ministry for 22 years. In April 2018, we began our new "God Adventure" in the U.S. Navy. That's a whole series of blog posts in itself! I have been a worship leader for over 20 years and have had the pleasure of speaking and sharing God's word over the last 22 years of ministry. I love to just be "real" with people and speak the word of God with a little "southern flair". One of my greatest joys, is to encourage those that God places in my life, to live for Him with all that they have got! My husband says, "I'm Extra", I just say I'm passionate about my Jesus. I hope that my blog will challenge you to see the EXTRAORDINARY God moments in your everyday life. My desire is that your faith will be built up and your desire to know Him more, will be stirred up. Let us always fix our eyes on Jesus as we Navigate Home.
